AWARD will bring together Australia’s creative community for an exclusive Sydney event on August 12 featuring two of the most influential figures in global advertising — 47th AWARD Awards Jury President Samira Ansari and Lion of St Mark recipient, AWARD Hall of Famer and global creative icon David Droga.
Taking place at The Eveleigh by The Grounds, the event marks the return of AWARD’s highly anticipated Jury President lunch for the first time in almost eight years, giving the local creative industry rare access to two internationally recognised creative leaders at the very top of their craft.

Ansari, CCO of Grey US, is one of the industry’s most progressive creatives, recognised globally for work spanning some of the world’s biggest brands and for helping shape the future of creativity at the intersection of culture, technology and innovation.
Joining her as special guest will be Droga, founder of Droga5 and current Vice Chair of Accenture, whose appearance marks a major moment for AWARD after years of working to bring one of Australia’s most celebrated and internationally influential creative figures back to speak directly to the local industry.
Mandie van der Merwe, Chair of AWARD, said: "We’re incredibly proud to welcome Samira Ansari to Australia as this year’s AWARD Awards Jury President. She represents the kind of creative ambition, innovation and leadership that AWARD has always championed, and having David Droga join her makes this a truly special event for our creative community.”
Tony Hale, CEO, Advertising Council Australia, said: “Australia has always produced creative talent capable of competing with the very best in the world, and Samira and David are a powerful reminder of that. Their success internationally continues to show just how influential Australian creativity can be on the global stage.”
The event will take place from 12pm to 4pm on 12 August, ahead of the 47th AWARD Awards ceremony and afterparty on 13 August.
