The first AWARD Lab GenAI Sprint, created by AWARD in partnership with Leonardo.ai and the Outdoor Media Association (OMA), is a 60-hour creative competition exploring how teams use AI to develop ideas, with people and craft at the centre.
Open to AWARD Crash and AWARD Uni alumni, the sprint challenges creatives to show how human insight and imagination shape the work - and remain the ultimate competitive advantage - even as AI becomes part of the process.
The challenge: 60 hours of conceptual agility
Over the course of a single weekend, creative teams will respond to a live brief for a leading Not-for-Profit (NFP) partner.
- The Sprint: A 60-hour window to transform a human insight into a high-fidelity Digital Out-of-Home campaign.
- Embedded craft: Experts from select Commercial Producers Council (CPC) member companies will collaborate with teams during the sprint to ensure craft, production thinking and execution are embedded from the outset.
- The toolkit: Work within Leonardo.ai’s top-tier Ultimate creative suite, using a library of high-resolution, NFP-approved assets to ensure all work meets professional licensing requirements.
The national stage
The winning campaign moves beyond a portfolio piece to a live national execution.
- The impact: The winning campaign will run across premium Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) assets provided by OMA members.
